Direct answers to common product questions
Please provide an overview of what this product does.
DeutschExam.ai is an independent, browser-based German exam-preparation platform for A1, B1, and B2 learners. It provides realistic exam-style mock tests, instant AI explanations, writing and handwriting feedback, AI speaking practice, readiness scores, and personalized study plans. Learners can create a free account and choose the exam level that matches their goal. DeutschExam.ai is not affiliated with or endorsed by telc gGmbH or Goethe-Institut and does not issue official certificates.
Who is this product for?
DeutschExam.ai is designed for individual German learners preparing for A1, B1, or B2 exams, including family-reunification applicants, citizenship and permanent-residence candidates, skilled professionals, healthcare workers, and students. Language schools, training providers, and migration or workforce programs can use the separate enterprise offering for cohort practice and reporting.
What are the main features and benefits of this product?
The main features are 100 full mock exams, instant AI feedback and explanations, AI Live Speaking with a real-time voice examiner, feedback on typed and photographed handwritten writing, 500+ listening questions, readiness scores, progress tracking, and personalized study plans. These features provide realistic practice, explain mistakes immediately, make speaking practice available without a human partner, identify weak skills, and help learners focus their study time.
What specific problems does this product solve for its users?
DeutschExam.ai solves the shortage of realistic, repeatable exam practice; long waits for teacher feedback; difficulty finding a speaking partner; uncertainty about exam readiness; and fragmented study materials. Learners receive immediate feedback in one mobile-friendly web app, while schools can use cohort-level practice and reporting through the enterprise offering.
How much does this product cost and what is included in each plan?
Core exam-preparation access starts at €6.99 for A1, €9.99 for B1, and €11.99 for B2, each for a 48-hour pass. Longer two-week, one-month, three-month, and Pass Assurance options are available. Paid exam-preparation plans are one-time purchases rather than auto-renewing subscriptions. Plans for a level unlock that level's mock exams, AI explanations, writing and handwriting assessment, speaking practice, progress tracking, and study-planning tools within the selected access window. Regional and promotional prices may vary, so the live pricing page is authoritative.
What integrations or APIs does this product support?
DeutschExam.ai does not currently offer a public third-party developer API, webhooks, self-service API keys, or prebuilt LMS integrations. The protected application API is for first-party product use. Language schools and institutional customers with custom workflow or integration requirements should contact the enterprise team.
Is there a free trial or demo available?
Yes. A free account is available without a credit card. It includes one full Set-1 mock-exam submission for each of A1, B1, and B2, unlimited practice previews with one question per module, and five AI-powered feedback calls per day. The free tier lets learners evaluate the exam interface and feedback before buying a fixed-duration pass.
What is the cancellation or refund policy?
Core paid exam-preparation plans are one-time purchases with no automatic renewal, so no cancellation is required to stop future billing. Eligible one-month, three-month, and initial Pass Assurance purchases can receive a full refund within 14 days when the fair-use conditions are met: fewer than two completed exams, less than 45 minutes of total use, fewer than 20 AI requests, and no premium downloads. The 48-hour and two-week passes, and FSP access after premium use begins, are excluded from voluntary satisfaction refunds. Refund requests are sent to support@deutschexam.com with the registered email address and order or transaction ID. Mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.
